Purchase Policy

Last Updated and Effective Date as of May 8, 2026

This Purchase Policy (“Purchase Policy”), which is incorporated in our Terms of Use (“Terms”), applies to all ticket purchases, on our website and applications (the “Site”) and to your use of our tickets.  This Purchase Policy, together with our Terms, is a legally binding agreement between you, the user (“you” or “your”), and us. We use the terms “us,” “we,” and “our” to collectively refer to Broadway Direct (“Broadway Direct”), and all of Broadway Direct’s parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates.

If you are making a purchase on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that company or other legal entity to the terms of this Purchase Policy (and that references to “you” and “your” also refer and apply to that company or other legal entity).

Please also consult our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Lottery Terms & Conditions and any other policies, rules or guidelines that may be applicable to particular offers or features on the Site.

If you have any questions, please send us a message at [email protected].

I.   Ticket Price & Currency

All ticket prices are stated in U.S. dollars. The price listed is the cost of the ticket, and all fees, if any.  Fees may be charged on a per-ticket and/or per order basis and will be clearly displayed.

Broadway Direct does not set the prices of the tickets for events (“Events”).  The organizers for each event (the “Event Organizers”) are responsible for setting the price of tickets.

Ticket prices are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Event Organizer. Pricing is not guaranteed until your order has been fully processed and confirmed. We do not offer price matching, adjustments, refunds, or credits due to changes in ticket pricing.

II.   Payment Methods

Broadway Direct accepts the following methods of payments which may include, but are not limited to: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club,  debit cards, Apple Pay, Affirm and Link.  You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred.

A valid matching photo ID is required when picking tickets up at Will Call.

III.   Ticket Availability

Popular Events may sell out quickly, and inventory may not be available for every performance. There also may be periods of time when tickets are made available for an Event via another sales channel prior to being made available on Broadway Direct.

IV.   Ticket Limits

An Event Organizer may limit the number of tickets that can be purchased per transaction or within a specified date range (known as a “ticket limit”). In addition to any ticket limits set forth for a specific Event, Broadway Direct has a twenty (20) ticket limit per Event per one (1) month period. Event specific ticket limits are posted on the Broadway Direct Event page. Ticket limits may also vary by ticket type and are subject to change. Ticket limits may apply per person (or customer name), payment method, billing address, email address, internet protocol address (“IP address”), business entity or phone number.  Additional ticket limits may be imposed by and across other authorized ticket sales channels.

We reserve the right, without notification, to cancel any or all orders found to be in violation of these established ticket limits including orders associated with the same person (or customer name), payment method, billing address, email address, IP address, business entity, phone number, or other information.

Using multiple accounts, payment methods, email addresses, billing addresses, or false information, or engaging in any behavior to circumvent the ticket limit or is prohibited. If you exceed, or try to exceed, the posted ticket limit: (a) we may cancel any of your orders and tickets without notice and, on cancellation, we may refund the face value purchase price; and (b) we may terminate your account and ban you from buying tickets in the future from the Site.

We reserve the right to deny access to tickets and the Site if we detect use of a VPN, robot, spider, offline reader, site search/retrieval application, automated browser, or other manual or automatic device, tool, or process to retrieve, index, or data mine. Access will be denied to known violators.

Purchases are subject to credit or debit card verification (if applicable), identification verification, other security checks, and collection of payment by us. They are processed only after the billing address associated with your credit card and other billing information have been verified. Your order may be canceled without notice if it has not passed our verification process, if payment is not received in full, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. In rare circumstances, if your payment is recalled by the associated bank or payment provider, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders you have placed, even if we have already sent an order confirmation.

You may not attempt to conceal your identity by using multiple IP addresses or email addresses, or by any other means. You may not use ticket bot technology to search for, reserve, or purchase tickets. For the avoidance of doubt, this specifically prohibits you from using automated ticket purchasing software, and prohibits you from circumventing any security measure, access control system, or other technological control or measure that is used to enforce posted event ticket limits.

If your order is canceled for any of these reasons, we may sell your tickets to another customer without further notice. We accept no responsibility or liability for such cancellations.

V.   Canceled Performances & Changes to Performance Times

In the event a performance has been cancelled, or the performance time has changed, we will make the best effort to contact you to inform you of the change.

If a performance has been cancelled, you will receive instructions on how to receive a refund for the ticket(s) you have purchased.

Refunds will only be issued back to the original method of payment used for the purchase, including pre-paid debit or credit gift cards. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, hospitality, or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved performance or Event.

Requests for a refund are final and cannot be changed once initiated.

VI.   Account Registration & Passwords

You may browse and purchase tickets on the Site without registering for an account. An account is required to use the most updated version of the Broadway Direct app (updated October 23, 2025) and to enter the Lottery. If you create an account, your account username may not include the name of another person with the intent of impersonating that person, or be offensive, vulgar or obscene. Your account username and password are personal to you. You will be responsible for the confidentiality and use of your username and password, and for all activities (including purchases) that are conducted through your account. You may not transfer or sell access to your account. We will not be liable for any harm related to disclosure of your username or password or the use by anyone else of your username or password. You may not use another user’s account without that user’s permission. You will immediately notify us in writing at [email protected] if you discover any unauthorized use of your account or other account-related security breach. We may require you to change your username and/or password if we believe your account is no longer secure or if we receive a complaint that your username violates someone else’s rights. You will have no ownership in your account or your username.

In connection with your registration of an account, you represent that you are (a) at least eighteen (18) years old; (b) of legal age to form a binding contract; and (c) not a person barred from using the Site under the laws of the United States, your place of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction.

When making a purchase, make sure the information you provide is accurate and valid. Don’t place (or try to place) an order with any information that is false, misleading, incorrect, or incomplete, that cannot be verified as belonging to you, or that you don’t have the right to use. If you do, your order can be canceled at any time. And, if your order is canceled for any of these reasons, we may sell your tickets to another customer without further notice. We accept no responsibility or liability for such cancellations.

We may refuse registration, cancel an account or deny access to the Site for any reason. To understand how we use information collected from you, including information collected via social media connectivity, please read our Privacy Policy.

VII.   Termination of Account

You may request to close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or filling out this form. However, we are unable to close your account until all Events for which you have purchased tickets have taken place.

We may terminate or suspend your account and/or your access to the Site at any time, for any reason. In addition, if we have reason to believe that you violated our Terms or any of our Other Policies, we may: (a) prevent you from using the Site or re-registering under a different name or email address; (b) cancel any order or purchase acquired through your account; (c) refuse to honor pending and future purchases, or ticket transfers made or connected with any account we believe may be associated with you; (d) cancel a ticket or ticket order associated with any person we believe to be acting with you; and/or (e) exercise any other remedy available to us under the law and/or this agreement.

VIII.   Refunds & Exchanges

All ticket purchases are final, and tickets may not be exchanged or refunded. It is your responsibility to make sure that you purchase tickets for the correct Event, performance date, time, and location.

For any questions, please send us a message at [email protected].

You agree that you won’t try to circumvent any of our refund policies. This means that you agree not to seek a refund from us where the Event Organizer prohibits us from providing one, and not to seek a “chargeback” from any credit card or payment company you used to purchase tickets. If you do, we can cancel your tickets immediately. We may also refuse to honor pending and future purchases made from the credit card account or online account on which chargebacks were made, and we may prohibit future purchases by you—or the person in whose name the credit card account exists, or any person associated with the credit card or online account.

IX.   Order Confirmation

Following your purchase of ticket(s) through Broadway Direct, you will be provided with an order confirmation number in the form of a confirmation page and a confirmation email. If you do not see the confirmation page or do not receive the confirmation email, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm via your Broadway Direct account or Broadway Direct customer service whether your order has been completed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

X.   Ticket Delivery Options

Different combinations of delivery methods may be offered, depending on facts that include the venue and how much time is left before the Show performance. You will be offered delivery method options during the checkout process, and you may choose your delivery method from the list provided.

Generally, some of the following delivery methods may be offered:

  • Will Call
  • Print at Home
  • Email

XI.   Use of Ticket(s)

The QR barcode only allows one entry per scan. Unauthorized duplication or sale of a ticket may prevent your admittance to the event.

Keep your ticket(s) in a safe place as you would cash or regular hard tickets.  Tickets cannot be replaced if they are lost, stolen, or damaged.

Don’t post pictures or details of your tickets online as this may allow third parties to counterfeit your tickets or otherwise compromise the integrity of the tickets. We will not be liable if you are refused entry to the event as a result.

Broadway Direct is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by unauthorized duplication.

This ticket is valid only for the Event, performance date and time and seat for which it is issued.  This ticket is not redeemable for cash.

A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused. Breach of the Terms, rules of entry from the Event Organizer or venue, or violation of applicable laws will terminate your license to attend the Event without refund. The Event Organizer and the venue have the right to refuse admission to or eject—without refund of any amount paid—any person whose conduct is deemed to be unsafe, disorderly, vulgar, or abusive, or who otherwise fails to comply with the Terms, rules of entry, or applicable laws

LATECOMERS WILL BE SEATED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE VENUE AND EVENT ORGANIZER. EVENT, DATE, TIME & CAST SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

XII.   Ticket Transfer Policy

Broadway Direct’s Ticket Transfer is the safe and easy way to transfer tickets digitally to another person using your Broadway Direct Account. If you are a Ticket Transfer recipient (“Transferee”), meaning someone you know and trust (“Transferor”) is transferring their tickets to you, you will be able to accept them if you choose to do so.  This is the only recommended way to transfer tickets purchased on Broadway Direct.  Any other method of transfer may result in invalid tickets and Broadway Direct is not responsible.

Once a Transferee accepts a Ticket Transfer, the original ticket(s) held by the Transferor are cancelled/invalidated and new ticket(s) are issued. This means the Transferor’s original tickets are invalid. This is a protection for both parties to avoid duplicate and fraudulent tickets.

If a ticket has been transferred multiple times, only the ticket accepted from the most recent transfer will be valid for entry. All previous tickets will be invalidated and will not be permitted access to the Event.

The Transferor can only cancel a Ticket Transfer before the Transferee accepts the transfer, not after. The Transferor is responsible for entering the correct email address for their intended Transferee.  Broadway Direct is not responsible if the Transferor mistakenly transfers tickets to the wrong Transferee, nor can Broadway Direct reverse, cancel or invalidate a Ticket Transfer after the Transferee has accepted. If the Transferor entered an incorrect or invalid email address, the Transferor should cancel the Ticket Transfer before the Transferee has accepted the tickets.

Please note that Broadway Direct may cancel transferred tickets, at any time, if it is determined that they were obtained fraudulently or otherwise in violation of our policies; therefore, it is important that you know and trust the individual transferring tickets to you before accepting them.

If an Event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled or moved, and refunds are approved by Broadway Direct, only the person who purchased the tickets originally from Broadway Direct (the “Original Purchaser”) will be eligible for any available refunds for a transferred ticket. Transferees will not be entitled to any refund issued by Broadway Direct. For more details see below:

  • For canceled Events: The Original Purchaser will receive any available refund, and no additional action is needed by either the Transferor or the Transferee.
  • For postponed, rescheduled, or moved Events: Transferees will need to transfer the tickets back to the original purchaser for the Original Purchaser to take advantage of any available refund options if the new Event dates are not acceptable. Once the tickets have been transferred back to the Original Purchaser, the Original Purchaser will need to contact Broadway Direct customer service to request a refund. Please note that Transferees are not eligible for any available refunds, because the Transferees did not purchase tickets directly from Broadway Direct. If you purchased a resale ticket from some other source (i.e., not through Broadway Direct), and that ticket was then transferred to you, you will need to reach out to your original point of purchase for any refund and/or credit options, if available.

XIII.   Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily assume all risks incidental to the Event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring before, during, or after the Event. You waive any claims for personal injury or death—including (without limitation) as a result of any communicable disease or illness, even if you contracted it while attending an Event—against us, management, facilities, venues, Events, Event Organizers, other participants, and all our respective parents, affiliated entities, agents, officers, directors, owners, and employees on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor. You bear all risks of inclement weather.

Please also see the Limitation of Liability and the Disclaimer of Warranties sections in the Terms.

XIV.   Search

You are subject to search. You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the Event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the Event without refund or other compensation. Certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation: firearms, other weapons, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, laser pointers, strobe lights, and irritants (e.g., artificial noisemakers).

XV.   Arbitration/Claims

Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of the Site, or to products or services sold or distributed by us or through us, will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, with the following exceptions:

  • You may assert claims in small claims court if your claims apply.
  • If the arbitration agreement in this Purchase Policy or our Terms is, for any reason, held to be unenforceable, any litigation against us (except for small claims court actions) may commence only in a federal or state court located within New York County, New York, and we both consent to the jurisdiction of those courts for such purposes.

Any arbitration shall take place in the State of New York, New York County, and shall be administered by, and pursuant to the rules of, the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). Your use of the Sites is your consent to the sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction of the AAA sitting in New York County, New York.

For more information about both parties’ arbitration rights, please see our Terms.

XVI.   General

We may update this Purchase Policy and our Other Policies from time to time to reflect changes in Site or how we do business, for legal, regulatory, or security reasons, to promote a safe and secure experience on our Site, to prevent abuse of or harm to our Site, or for other reasons. If we revise this Purchase Policy, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top.

To the extent that this Purchase Policy has been updated from a prior version of the Purchase Policy to which you previously agreed, the most recent version of the Purchase Policy to which you agreed supersedes and governs.

If any part of this Purchase Policy is not valid or enforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable, meaning it will not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

If you don’t comply with this Purchase Policy, and we don’t act right away, that doesn’t mean we’re giving up any rights now or in the future.

In this Purchase Policy, the section headings are used for reference and convenience only and are not legally binding.
