Warriors Tickets & Information

Come out to play.

Twelve years after revolutionizing theater, Lin-Manuel Miranda returns to Broadway in a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize finalist Eisa Davis. Together they have created Warriors — a boundary-pushing adrenaline shot of a musical that tells a story of loyalty, friendship, a search for peace, strength, and survival over one tumultuous night in New York. It’s the heart of the city…the soul of a community…and the sound of something being born.

Based on the Paramount Pictures motion picture directed by Walter Hill and the book by Sol Yurick, Warriors is directed by Jenny Koons and co-directed and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler. Performances begin March 9 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

In partnership with Broadway Direct, Warriors will be offering an affordable-ticket initiative: $79 ($68.25 ticket plus $10.75 handling fee), available via lottery beginning on January 11, 2027. The show will also sell the first two rows for $19.79 via lottery, beginning March 9, 2027. More details to be announced at a later date.

About The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

Opened in 1910, the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre was originally named The Globe, after Shakespeare’s theatre in England. It had a retractable roof to enable the theatre to stay cool and open during the summer. For nearly two decades, the theatre housed a variety of plays and musicals, until 1932 when it was turned into a movie house.

In 1958, the theatre was gutted and rebuilt in its present configuration as a legitimate theatre. It was renamed in honor of America’s foremost husband-wife acting couple, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, who starred in its first production, The Visit. Theatregoers can enjoy a selection of photographs from their private collection on display throughout the lobby areas.

Blue Man Group – A New Holiday Surprise and Warriors are up next at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

The Lunt-Fontanne has 1,505 seats and is one of The Nederlander Organization‘s nine Broadway theatres.
