First Look: Water for Elephants Comes to Broadway

Water for Elephants is now in preview performances at the Imperial Theatre and we now have a look at the Broadway production. Ahead of the musical’s official opening on March 21, 2024, check out these new production photos featuring stars Grant Gustin and Isabella McCalla.

In addition to Gustin and McCalla, the cast of Water for Elephants includes four-time Tony Award nominee Gregg Edelman (City of Angels), Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award nominee Paul Alexander Nolan (Slave Play), Stan Brown, Joe De Paul, Sara Gettelfinger, and Wade McCollum.

Water for Elephants features a book by three-time Tony Award nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Peter and the Starcatcher), a soaring score by the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co. (The Tale of Despereaux), and direction by Tony Award nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo). The new musical unites innovative stagecraft with the very best of Broadway talent in an authentic and deeply moving new musical that invites us all to give ourselves to the unknown.
