Water for Elephants heads to Broadway this spring and today initial casting was announced. Grant Gustin (The Flash, Glee) will make his Broadway debut alongside Isabelle McCalla (Shucked, The Prom) in the Broadway premiere of Water for Elephants, a new musical based on Sara Gruen’s critically acclaimed novel of the same name.
In addition to Gustin and McCalla, the cast will include four-time Tony Award nominee Gregg Edelman (City of Angels), Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award nominee Paul Alexander Nolan (Slave Play), Stan Brown (Homicide: Life in the Streets), Joe De Paul (Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion), Sara Gettelfinger (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), and Wade McCollum (Wicked). Water for Elephants will begin performances on February 24, 2024, ahead of an opening night on March 21, 2024, at the Imperial Theatre.
