The Tony Awards are only days away! On Sunday, June 16, the ceremony is moving to Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. Similar to recent ceremonies, the Tonys will be a multiplatform television event, and we’re here to help you navigate the best way to view the must-see theater celebration.
How to Watch The Tony Awards: Act One
The celebration will commence at 6:30 p.m. EST with The Tony Awards: Act One, streaming live and for free on Pluto TV. Julianne Hough returns as host alongside Utkarsh Ambudkar to kick off the evening celebrating the 2024 Tony Awards. This exciting preshow telecast will start off Broadway’s biggest night with the presentation of the first round of Tonys.
Viewers can access The Tony Awards: Act One on their smart TVs, streaming devices, mobile apps, or online by going to Pluto TV and clicking on the “ET” channel — free and easy.
How to Watch the 77th Annual Tony Awards
The presentation of the American Theatre Wing’s 77th Annual Tony Awards, once again hosted by Academy Award winner and Tony nominee Ariana DeBose, will air live from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).
Don’t have Paramount+? Now is the time to get it! While a subscription can cost money, a one-week free trial is available to new members.
Other Streaming Options
While you can only view The Tony Awards: Act One on Pluto, you can access the official awards ceremony airing on CBS through live TV streaming services such as Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV, both offering free trials.
