Get ready for big fun this summer… Westerberg High is calling. How very!

Following a smash hit run in London’s West End, the WhatsOnStage BEST NEW MUSICAL winner, Heathers The Musical is now back in NYC.

Welcome to Westerberg High, where popularity is a matter of life and death, and Veronica Sawyer is just another of the nobodies dreaming of a better day. But when she’s unexpectedly taken under the wings of the three beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers, her dreams of popularity finally start to come true. That is until J.D., the mysterious teen rebel, teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it is murder being a somebody…

Heathers The Musical brings the wickedly funny, cult-classic 1989 film back to the NYC stage in a darkly comic musical about high school hierarchies, teen angst, and deadly popularity. Set at Westerberg High, this off-Broadway fan favorite follows Veronica Sawyer as she trades her outsider status for a coveted place alongside the three Heathers, only to discover that fitting in with the most popular girls in school comes with a seriously killer price.

With a high-energy pop-rock score, sharp humor, and songs like “Seventeen,” “Freeze Your Brain,” and “Lifeboat,” Heathers The Musical tackles heavy themes like bullying, mental health, and peer pressure through a bold, satirical lens that has resonated with teen and young adult audiences around the world. Perfect for fans of cult movies, edgy teen comedies, and off-Broadway musicals with bite, this NYC run at New World Stages offers a must-see night out for groups of friends, college students, and anyone looking for something darker and funnier than the typical feel-good show.
