On the press junket to promote the filmed recording of the Broadway musical Merrily We Roll Along, Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez discuss onstage wardrobe malfunctions, flubbed lyrics, and more on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

As previously announced, the filmed recording of Merrily We Roll Along will be released in movie theatres on December 5, 2025. The latest revival of the production, which starred Groff, Mendez, and Radcliffe, returned to Broadway on October 10, 2023, and was nominated for seven Tony Awards. It won four, including Best Revival of a Musical.

Spanning three decades, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends — writer Mary and lyricist and playwright Charley. Originally produced on Broadway in 1981, the cult-classic features some of Stephen Sondheim’s most celebrated and personal songs.

The Broadway musical was directed by Maria Friedman. Merrily We Roll Along is produced by Sonia Friedman, David Babani, Patrick Catullo, F. Richard Pappas, RadicalMedia’s Jon Kamen, and Dave Sirulnick. Executive producers include Meredith Bennett, No Guarantees Productions, Scott Abrams, Jonathan Corr, Mary Maggio, Jeff Romley, Tony Yurgaitis, Andrew Cohen, Amanda Lipitz, and Henry Tisch alongside co-executive producer Stephanie P. McClelland. Karla Zambrano and Alec Sash serve as supervising producers.
