Which 2026 Olivier–nominated shows can I see in New York City?

Currently on and Off-Broadway

There are a few Broadway productions that were nominated for the Oliviers this year. Corbin Bleu was nominated for Best Actor in a supporting role in a musical, for his performance in The Great Gatsby. You can currently see him reprise his Olivier-nominated performance in The Great Gatsby on Broadway.

Cole Escola’s Oh, Mary! was also nominated for two Oliviers, winning an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play. The West End production of Every Brilliant Thing, was also nominated in that category. 

Kenrex, a true crime thriller co-written by Jack Holden and director Ed Stambollouian began performances Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on April 16, 2026. The production received six Olivier nominations and took home two awards, including Best Actor for Jack Holden’s performance.

Pending NYC Transfers

Jamie Lloyd’s Much Ado About Nothing starring Tom Hiddleston received 2 Olivier nominations for best revival and best actor (Tom Hiddleston) and is set to open on Broadway in Fall 2026.

Suzie Miller’s a legal drama, Inter Alia, starring Rosamund Pike received two Olivier nominations, Best New Play and Best Actress. Pike received the award for Best actress for her performance in Inter Alia. Pike is set to make her Broadway debut in Inter Alia when it transfers to the Music Box Theatre in the fall of 2026.

While there has been no official announcement, there have been talks and speculation about Jamie Lloyd’s Evita starring Olivier Award winner Rachel Zegler and Paddington The Musical making the hop to Broadway. Following the Olivier Awards, Sonia Friedman, one of the lead producers of Paddington The Musical, winner of 7 Olivier Awards, including Best Musical, revealed to Deadline that she’s hoping to have the show running in New York in 2027.
