“Disney Family Singalong” Airs on ABC with Ariana Grande, Darren Criss & More

During these unprecedented times, companies have been doing everything they can to help their communities maintain a sense of normalcy in their lives. Disney has been doing their part to keep the magic of their community alive, offering everything from virtual rides and attractions to special digital albums of photos from their theme parks.

Today, Thursday, April 16, Disney is taking their quarantine entertainment programming up a notch with “The Disney Family Singalong” on ABC. This program will be an hour-long television special, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and featuring a stacked lineup of celebrities — and their families — singing their favorite Disney songs. And not only will these stars be singing some of Disney fans’ favorite hits, they’ll be inviting everyone to sing along from the comfort of their own homes.

Special guest performances will include “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” (Hercules) performed by Ariana Grande; “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” (Cinderella) performed by Demi Lovato and Michael Bublé; “Be Our Guest” (Beauty and the Beast) performed by Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert with a special appearance by Julianne Hough; “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” (The Lion King) performed by Christina Aguilera; “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” (Frozen) performed by Thomas Rhett; “Friend Like Me” (Aladdin) performed by James Monroe Iglehart with Broadway Company of Disney’s Aladdin; “Gaston” (Beauty and the Beast) performed by Josh Gad, Luke Evans and Alan Menken; “I Wan’na Be Like You” (Jungle Book) performed by Darren Criss; and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” (Toy Story) performed by Josh Groban, among many other performances.

The broadcast will air today, Thursday, April 16, at 8 PM EDT on ABC’s television network. It will also be available to stream live on ABC’s website when logged in through a cable provider, or via Hulu Live TV.

The broadcast will also promote Feeding America, the United States’ largest national hunger-relief organization, and will provide information and resources as to how people can help those who are struggling during these unusual and trying circumstances.
