& Juliet, the 2019 jukebox musical featuring the music of pop songwriter Max Martin, opened on Broadway more than three years ago. Laurie Hernandez
The two-time Olympic medal–winning gymnast Laurie Hernandez made her Broadway debut in & Juliet earlier this spring. Hernandez, a recent graduate of NYU Tisch Drama, was part of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she won a gold medal with the team and an individual silver medal on the balance beam. She is no stranger to the stage and performance. After the Olympics, she went on to win the mirrorball on Dancing With the Stars, season 23.
Joey Fatone
NSYNC founding member Joey Fatone joined the Broadway company of & Juliet as Lance in the spring of 2025. Fatone made his Broadway debut in 2002 as Mark in RENT. He returned to the role of Lance on the North American tour of & Juliet for an exclusive engagement at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida, his hometown.
Cheryl Porter
TikTok star and vocal coach Cheryl Porter made her Broadway debut as Angélique in & Juliet. She is a social media sensation with 22 million followers on TikTok, where she shares singing advice and vocal warm-ups.

Charli D’Amelio
Dancer and TikTok star Charli D’Amelio made her Broadway debut in & Juliet in the ensemble role of Charmion. She joined the show for a limited engagement in October 2024. Her run was originally set to end in January 2025, but she extended it twice and exited the show in September 2025.
Kandi Burruss
Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and reality TV star Kandi Burruss took over the role of Angélique following Cheryl Porter. Burruss is a Grammy winner for writing the TLC hit “No Scrubs.” She starred on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for 13 seasons and made her Broadway debut as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago in 2018.
