On Sunday, September 24, from 10 am to 7 pm, the annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction is set to take place in Broadway’s Theatre District. It is, in-fact, the 31st Annual Broadway Flea Market, an opportunity for throngs of Broadway fans to bid on and buy theatrical memorabilia, tickets to shows, autographs, treasures, and trinkets, all while helping to contribute to a great cause.
The flea market will once-again feature its popular Autograph and Photo Booth, with over 70 performers from Broadway’s hottest plays and musicals in attendance. Between 11 am and 3 pm a new round of performers will be there. The Autograph Table and Photo Booth, hosted by Ben Cameron, will be based on the deck of Junior’s at Shubert Alley.
There will also be over 50 tables full of collectible merchandise on West 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. A bevy of Broadway shows will be represented including Aladdin, Anastasia, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical;, A Bronx Tale;, Dear Evan Hansen;, Hamilton;, Hello, Dolly!, Kinky Boots, The Lion King, Miss Saigon, Natasha, NEWSical The Musical, The Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock – The Musical, Sweeney Todd, Waitress, and Wicked.
For the silent and live auction lots, pre-bidding will continue through 4 pm Eastern on Friday, September 22. On September 24, silent auction lots will open in Shubert Alley every half hour beginning at 10 am for in-person bidding; the live auction begins at 5 pm. Bryan Batt and Nick Nicholson will be host and auctioneer, respectively, for the live-auction. Jen Cody and Michael Goddard will return to co-host the silent auction.
