Death Becomes Her
Experience the darkly comedic world of the Broadway adaptation of the beloved 1992 film. Starring Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard, the original Broadway cast album, with music and lyrics by Julia Mattison and Noel Carey, was released on April 17, 2025. Stream the album here.
Gypsy
The current Broadway revival of Gypsy, starring six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, released their cast album on Friday, April 25, 2025. Stream the album here.
Maybe Happy Ending
Featuring music and lyrics from the internationally acclaimed duo of Will Aronson and Hue Park, the cast album for the new Broadway musical Maybe Happy Ending, starring Darren Criss and Helen J Shen, was released on March 14, 2025. Stream the album here.
Once Upon A Mattress
The cast album for the Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress, starring two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster as Princess Winnifred and featuring lyrics by Marshall Barger and music by Mary Rodgers, was released on March 28, 2025. Stream the album here.
Operation Mincemeat
Before its Broadway transfer, Operation Mincemeat captivated audiences in London’s West End. The original London cast album, with music and lyrics by the musical comedy troupe SpitLip which includes David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson, and Zoë Roberts, was released on May 12, 2023. Redwood
Redwood, the new Broadway musical starring Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, released their original Broadway cast recording on May 13, 2025. Fans can stream the cast album here.
Romeo + Juliet
While Sam Gold’s production of Romeo + Juliet wasn’t a musical, it did feature original music. The song from the production, “Man of the House”, was released on October 25, 2024. Performed by the show’s star Rachel Zegler, it was written by Jack Antonoff and Ryan Beatty. You can stream the song here.
Sunset Boulevard
Witness Nicole Scherzinger’s powerful portrayal of Norma Desmond in Jamie Lloyd’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard. This cast album, a live recording from its West End run at the Savoy Theatre, was released on October 25, 2024. Stream the album here.
Swept Away
The Broadway cast recording of Swept Away was released on February 7, 2025, and features music by The Avett Brothers, drawing inspiration from their 2004 album Mignonette. Stream the album here.
Cast Recordings Available to Stream Soon
BOOP! The Musical
Broadway’s BOOP! The Musical is getting a cast recording. The musical will digitally release a Broadway cast album on June 6, 2025, with CD and vinyl editions dropping the same day. A 3-track EP has been released earlier in 2025 including the songs “Why Look Around the Corner,” “Something To Shout About,” and “Where I Wanna Be.” Fans can stream the EP here.
Floyd Collins
The 2025 Broadway revival of Floyd Collins, starring Jeremy Jordan, will release their cast album on July 11, 2025.
Real Women Have Curves
Get ready for the cast album of the new Broadway musical Real Women Have Curves, set to be released in June, 2025. Fans can already enjoy a 4-track EP featuring the songs “Make it Work,” “Flying Away,” “Daydream,” and “Real Women Have Curves,” with music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning artist Joy Huerta and composer/lyricist Benjamin Velez. SMASH
The original Broadway cast recording of the new musical SMASH will be released digitally for streaming on May 16, 2025. The physical CD and vinyl of the original Broadway cast recording of SMASH will both be available for preorder beginning Friday May, 16, for release this summer.
Cast Recordings Yet to Be Announced
New Broadway cast recordings have yet to be announced for Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Just In Time, The Last Five Years, Pirates! The Penzance Musical, and Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends.
While the shows Elf The Musical, A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical, and Tammy Faye have closed it has not been announced whether cast albums for these shows will be released.
