Already in New York City, perhaps seeing a Broadway show? Head on down to the 48th Village Halloween Parade wearing your Halloween best. Costumes are a must to march! Beginning as a small neighborhood gathering in 1973, the annual parade has grown to include over 50,000 participants. Line up on 6th Avenue between Spring Street and Broome Street starting at 6:30 p.m. before the parade begins at 7 p.m. Participants and spectators are encouraged to wear a mask during the parade.
