Academy Award-winning star Faye Dunaway will make her triumphant return to the Broadway stage. After an absence of over thirty-five years, Dunaway will star in Matthew Lombardo’s Tea at Five, playing Academy Award-winning star of the stage and screen, Katharine Hepburn. Tony Award-winning director John Tillinger (for the 1986 Broadway production of Loot), will direct the strictly limited engagement during the summer of 2019.

Faye Dunaway is one of America’s most celebrated actresses, having won an Academy Award as Best Actress for her performance in the 1977 film Network. She also received Oscar nominations for her work in Bonnie and Clyde and Chinatown. Other films of note include The Thomas Crown Affair, Little Big Man, The Towering Inferno, Eyes of Laura Mars, The Champ, Barfly, and The Rules of Attraction. On the Broadway stage, Dunaway appeared in A Man for All Seasons, After the Fall, But For Whom Charlie, The Changeling, and The Curse of an Aching Heart. She also starred as opera diva Maria Callas in the National Tour of Terrence McNally’s Master Class.
