It was announced this morning that Tony Award-winning Best Musical Hadestown will be welcoming an all-new principal cast to the Walter Kerr Theatre beginning September 1, 2026.
The new cast will include Jasmin Savoy Brown (Yellowjackets) as Eurydice, Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz as Hermes, Tony Award nominee Amber Iman as Persephone, American Idol season 22 star Kayko (making his Broadway debut) as Orpheus, and Geno Segers as Hades. The current principal cast will take their final bows on August 30, 2026.

Hadestown intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — as it invites you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. The swings and ensemble include Kelly Belarmino, KC Dela Cruz, Khori Michelle Petinaud, Emily Afton, Malcolm Armwood, Jeffrey Cornelius, Sydney Parra, and Alex Puette, with swings Brandon Cameron, Tara Jackson, Max Kumangai, and Alex Lugo.

Hadestown features music, lyrics, and a book by Anaïs Mitchell. It was developed and is directed by Rachel Chavkin and choreographed by David Neumann.
