This morning on Good Morning America, Alexandra Billings, Madame Morrible from Wicked; Krystal Joy Brown, Eliza from Hamilton; and L. Steven Taylor, Mufasa from The Lion King announced that Broadway’s three biggest shows will reopen Broadway on September 14, 2021, with other shows expected to follow suit.
By the time Broadway opens its doors, safety measures will be implemented across all Broadway theatres to comply with the latest guidance from leaders in science, technology, medicine, and governmental authorities including New York City, New York State, and the CDC. The return plan was created with the health and safety of our theatre employees, production staff, cast, and audience members always at the forefront. Read the Health & Safety Guidelines or see all COVID-19 Policies.
