It was announced today that beginning May 16, 2023, Jordan Litz will join the Broadway cast of Wicked as Fiyero at the Gershwin Theatre. He takes over the role from current star James D. Gish who will perform his final performance on Sunday, May 14.
Litz comes directly from the Wicked National Tour where he played Fiyero for over a year and a half. Other credits include Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Legally Blonde, and numerous productions with Walt Disney World. He hails from California where he was a competitive swimmer, winning collegiate national championships and competing in the 2012 US Olympic Trials.
In addition to Litz, the current Broadway company of Wicked includes Alyssa Fox as Elphaba, McKenzie Kurtz as Glinda, John Dossett as The Wizard, Tony Award winner Michele Pawk as Madame Morrible, William Youmans as Doctor Dillamond, Kimber Elayne Sprawl as Nessarose, and Michael Wartella as Boq.
Currently the 4th longest-running show in Broadway history, Wicked is celebrating its 20th Anniversary on Broadway this fall.
