Death Becomes Heris heading to the stage! Based on the iconic 1992 movie starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn, the musical adaptation will have its world premiere in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, with performances beginning April 30, 2024. Tony Award nominees Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard will star as Madeline Ashton and Helen Sharp, respectively.
Death Becomes Her features an original score by Noel Carey and Julia Mattison, a book by Marco Pennette, and music supervision by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The new musical will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli. It will play a pre-Broadway engagement in Spring 2024 at Broadway In Chicago’s Cadillac Palace Theatre from April 30 – June 2, 2024
