It was announced this morning by The Rocky Horror Show that award-winning global actor, host, TV personality and comedian Rosie O’Donnell will take over the role of Narrator for a two-week special limited run, beginning on Tuesday, October 6 through Sunday, October 18, 2026.
O’Donnell will take on the role at Studio 54 while current Narrator, Rachel Dratch, takes a short leave from the production, but will return to the role on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The Rocky Horror Show is the story of two squeaky clean college kids—Brad and his fiancée, Janet—on their way to visit their former college professor when by a twist of fate, their car breaks down outside a mansion. They meet the charismatic Dr. Frank-n-Furter (played by Luke Evans), Riff Raff, Columbia, Magenta, Eddie, and Rocky. It is an adventure they would remember, for a very long time. Filled with fun, frolics and frocks, this is the show the Daily Telegraph calls “fresh. Subversive, and essential.”
