Wicked is celebrating its 20th year on Broadway this October, with October 30 recently being declared National Wicked Day. In honor of the upcoming landmark anniversary, current Wicked stars Alyssa Fox and McKenzie Kurtz along with composer Stephen Schwartz took part in NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, performing select iconic tunes from the long-running musical.
Currently the 4th longest-running show in Broadway history, Wicked will celebrate its 20th Anniversary at the Gershwin Theatre on October 30, 2023.
The current cast of the hit musical includes Alyssa Fox as Elphaba, McKenzie Kurtz as Glinda, John Dossett as The Wizard, Michele Pawk as Madame Morrible, Jordan Litz as Fiyero, Jake Pedersen as Boq, Kimber Elayne Sprawl as Nessarose, and William Youmans as Doctor Dillamond.
