Year Three of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Cast Announced

The wizards, witches, and the Hogwarts Academy itself continue to cast their spell at the Lyric Theatre as producers of the two-part hit play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child announced the cast for the production’s third-year. Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender revealed the performers who will take the stage on March 18, 2020, succeeding some of the current players who take their final bow on March 15, 2020. A new block of tickets has just been put on sale through September 6, 2020.

Paul Thornley, who created the role of Ron Weasley in the West End and Broadway productions of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, will return to the show, with Brady Dalton Richards joining as Scorpius Malfoy. James Snyder will continue in the role of Harry Potter, as well as Diane Davis as Ginny Potter, Jenny Jules as Hermione Granger and Nadia Brown as Rose Granger-Weasley. Current Broadway cast members James Romney will graduate to the role of Albus Potter and Aaron Bartz will now play Draco Malfoy.

The balance of the extensive ensemble will also include Gabriel Amoroso, Quinn Blades, Michela Cannon, Judith Lightfoot Clarke, Malcolm Fuller, Stephanie Gomérez, Jax Jackson, Spencer LaRue, Dan Piering, Alex Michael Stoll and Maya Thomas along with returning cast members Brian Thomas Abraham, Stephen Bradbury, James Brown III, Will Carlyon, Lauren Nicole Cipoletti, Makayla Joy Connolly, Grace DeAmicis, Patrick Du Laney, Steve Haggard, Edward James Hyland, Jack Koenig, Rachel Leslie, Sarita Amani Nash, Fiona Reid, Kevin Matthew Reyes, Antoinette Robinson, Stephen Spinella, Tom Patrick Stephens, Erica Sweany, and Karen Janes Woditsch.

Rowling in seven best-selling novels.  Based on an original, new story conceived by Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne. The play two-part play is directed by John Tiffany and features movement by Steven Hoggett, set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music & arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gareth Fry, illusions & magic by Jamie Harrison, and music supervision & arrangements by Martin Lowe.
