Ditching the beach and heading to the Big Apple for your spring break? Broadway is back in bloom, and here are the coolest shows this season!

Swap sandals for stage lights at the Gershwin Theatre, where you will see the world of Oz like you never have before with the Broadway classic Wicked. Deck yourself out in your spring pink and green and see a story of an unlikely friendship that will have you leaving the theatre in your feels.

For those who love to listen to mambo, bolero, and jazz on the beach, you should check out Buena Vista Social Club.

This spring break, dive into 1990s Cuba and hear the story of how a Son Cubano album rocked a nation. Watch a heartwarming story unfold before you while the live band onstage keeps your toe tapping. Head to the Schoenfeld Theatre to see Buena Vista Social Club, the brand-new show that is making waves on Broadway.

For the avid concertgoer, see the hottest pop girl group of the 16th century by seeing SIX.

Head on over to the Lena Horne Theatre to hear our favorite English queens rock out on stage together in SIX. Whether you’re a history buff studying for finals or someone who loves a pop girl group, you will be hearing the famous rhyme about Henry VIII’s wives in a whole new way at Six.

For vacation with the kids or the Disney lover at heart, take your spring break trip to Pride Rock and see The Lion King.

Be prepared, because Simba and his friends just can’t wait to be performing for you at the Minskoff Theatre with The Lion King! With some eye-catching costumes and masterful puppetry, matched with the classic songs we all know and love, some nostalgia would be the perfect cure for your spring fever.

See the iconic cartoon come to life at the Broadhurst Theatre with Boop! The Musical. You can catch this brand-new coming-of-age musical that follows the titular Betty Boop having a spring break of her own to New York City, where she experiences the magic of color, love, and a day off from her classic black-and-white cartoon world. Betty Boop will beguile your break with an evening of a lifetime!
