Cast Album of Frozen Arrives this Spring

Disney Theatricals just opened its latest venture at Broadway’s St. James Theatre with the arrival of the eagerly-anticipated Frozen making the leap from the screen to the stage. On the tail of this opening, it has now been announced that Walt Disney Records will preserve the original cast album this spring. Get ready to listen the Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez score that builds upon their award-winning songs from the 2013 hit film, including the Academy Award-winner “Let it Go.”

The original cast recording will include performances by Patti Murin (Anna), Caissie Levy (Elsa), performing the roles of the two beloved sisters connected by their undying love for one another. Also in the cast members Jelani Alladin (Kristoff), Greg Hildreth (Olaf), John Riddle (Hans), Robert Creighton (Weselton), Kevin Del Aguila (Oaken), Timothy Hughes (Pabbie), Andrew Pirozzi (Sven), Audrey Bennett (Young Anna), Mattea Conforti (Young Anna), Brooklyn Nelson (Young Elsa), Ayla Schwartz (Young Elsa), Alyssa Fox (Elsa Standby), Aisha Jackson (Anna Standby) and Adam Jepsen (Sven Alternate).

Filling out the album’s glorious sound will be an orchestra of 44 musicians (expanded from the 21 in the theatre), and vocal ensemble which includes Alicia Albright, Tracee Beazer, Wendi Bergamini, Ashley Blanchet, James Brown III, Claire Camp, Lauren Nicole Chapman, Spencer Clark, Jeremy Davis, Kali Grinder, Ashley Elizabeth Hale, Zach Hess, Donald Jones, Jr., Nina Lafarga, Ross Lekites, Austin Lesch, Synthia Link, Travis Patton, Adam Perry, Jeff Pew, Olivia Phillip, Noah J. Ricketts, Ann Sanders, Jacob Smith, and Nicholas Ward.

Tony and Olivier-winner Michael Grandage directs Frozen with choreography provided by Tony-winner Rob Ashford (Thoroughly Modern Mille). The design team bringing the world of Frozen to life includes scenic and costume design by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Natasha Katz,  and sound design Peter Hylenski.
