Last seen on Broadway opposite Kerry Washington in American Son, this marks Jordanâs first role back in a Broadway musical since he was nominated for a Tony Award in 2012 for his role in Newsies The Musical. His other Broadway credits include Bonnie and Clyde, West Side Story, and Rock of Ages.
Waitress opened on April 24, 2016 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Based on the 2007 movie of the same name, it tells the story of Jenna, a âwaitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.â
