Limited time remains to catch this Tony Award nominee and Broadway favorite in The Great Gatsby at the Broadway Theatre! It’s been announced that Jeremy Jordan will leave the Tony-winning production at the start of 2025.
Jordan will play his final performance as Jay Gatsby on January 19, 2025. The new actor playing the titular role will be announced at a later date.
In addition to Jordan, the current cast of The Great Gatsby includes two-time Tony Award Nominee Eva Noblezada (Hadestown, Miss Saigon), Noah J. Ricketts (Fellow Travelers, Frozen) as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly (SIX) as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase (The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as Myrtle Wilson, John Zdrojeski (Good Night Oscar) as Tom Buchanan, Paul Whitty (Come From Away, Once) as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson (Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Waitress) as Wolfsheim.
The Great Gatsby, based on the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, features music & lyrics by Tony Award nominees Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square) & Jason Howland (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Little Women), a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones), and is staged by award-winning director Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and choreographer Dominique Kelley (Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special, Dancing with the Stars).
