What is The Great Gatsby on Broadway about?

The Great Gatsby is a musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s beloved novel of wealth, class, and the American Dream during the Roaring Twenties. Gatsby throws these large parties as an attempt to win the affection of Daisy Buchanan, Nick’s married cousin who lives across the bay. With dazzling production numbers, lovely melodies, and an all-star Broadway cast, The Great Gatsby shines a light on the complexities of social class and the consequences of obsession.
