PBS to Air Anything Goes, Merry Wives, & Company Doc

Get ready to enjoy some of the best theater has to offer from the comfort of your living room! This month, Great Performances returns with its fifth annual Broadway’s Best lineup, airing on Fridays May 13 – 27 at 9 p.m. EST on (check local listings), the PBS website, and the PBS Video app as part of #PBSForTheArts.

The spring lineup raises the curtain with the West End revival of Cole Porter’s classic musical Anything Goes, featuring Tony Award winners Sutton Foster and Robert Lindsay; Merry Wives, recorded live from The Delacorte Theater marking the return of The Public Theater’s beloved Free Shakespeare in the Park following the COVID-19 shutdown; and Keeping Company with Sondheim, a documentary spotlighting the current acclaimed Broadway revival of Company and legacy of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s musical, featuring new interviews with Sondheim, Tony and Grammy winner Katrina Lenk, two-time Tony and two-time Grammy winner Patti LuPone and more.

Anything Goes will air Friday, May 13, at 9 p.m. EST, with Merry Wives airing the following Friday, May 20, and Keeping Company with Sondheim finishing out the month, premiering Friday, May 27.
