Iconic New York City restaurant Serendipity3 has announced its collaboration with the highly-anticipated new musical The Notebook, which is currently in preview performances at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
Serendipity3 and The Notebook are coming together to create a specialty dessert every bit as sweet as Noah and Allie’s decade-spanning love story: “Broadway’s – The Notebook Hot Chocolate Affogato Sundae”.
In describing the treat, Serendipity3 says it features a “marshmallow rimmed Serendipity goblet filled with 2 towering scoops of vanilla ice cream, a giant pillow of creamy whipped cream, romantic Valentine’s sprinkles! We then pour a carafe of our timeless, super-rich and thick hot chocolate (made with semisweet and bitter-sweet chocolates, rich cocoas, heavy cream, Maldon sea salt and Madagascar vanilla paste) over the ice cream. The dessert is then topped off with a dusting of iridescent edible glitter, an edible frosting-sheet with “The Notebook” logo, as well as a field of edible butterflies and flowers!”
The dessert is available at the restaurant through February 29, 2024.
The Notebook is a new musical based on the best selling novel that inspired the iconic film. Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart, in a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love.
