The Public Theater’s free Shakespeare in the Park returns to the Delacorte Theater in Central Park May 22. They present full-length productions of Shakespearean texts at no cost to the audience. The Public Theater is presenting two productions at the Delacorte theatre this summer. Romeo and Juliet will be running May 22, 2026 – June 28, 2026 and The Winter’s Tale is running July 15, 2026 – August 23, 2026. They operate on a six show week, with performances every evening except Mondays.
