Fans of social media will be excited to learn that Cameron Dallas is joining the hit Broadway production Mean Girlsfor a limited engagement this January. Dallas, an icon of the web and the subject of a Netflix documentary series, will play the role of Aaron Samuels for a four-week stint starting January 14, 2020. He will take over in the role while current performer Kyle Selig takes a leave of absence from the production at the August Wilson Theatre.
Mean Girls producers shared their enthusiasm for Dallas’s arrival in the show, “Cameron is a tremendously talented young performer. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the cast of Mean Girls and know he will be as captivating on stage as he is on screens all over the world.”
Cameron Dallas is a musician and social media entrepreneur and pioneer who rose to fame through his creative use of Vine, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, where he has over 40 million combined followers.
