Straight from the First National Tour, Reed will join the Broadway cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical this summer, taking over the role of Satine from Joanna “JoJo” Levesque, alongside Casey Cott joining as Christian. Levesque and Derek Klena will play their final performance as Satine and Christian, respectively, on Sunday, July 30. Reed and Cott will play their first performance together at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Tuesday, August 1.
In addition to Levesque and Klena, the current cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical includes Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago, and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini, with Oyoyo Joi as the Satine Alternate.
