Celebrity Presenters Announced for 74th Annual Tony Awards

At long last, the 2020 Tony Awards will take place this Sunday, September 26. With the ceremony nearing, initial celebrity appearances for the night have been revealed!

The evening will feature appearances by Annaleigh Ashford, Kerry Butler, Kristin Chenoweth, André De Shields, Jake Gyllenhaal (a 2020 Tony nominee), Christopher Jackson, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Bebe Neuwirth, Leslie Odom, Jr., Kelli O’Hara, Ben Platt, Jeremy Pope, Chita Rivera, Daphne Rubin-Vega, BD Wong, and others to be announced.

The Tony Awards ceremony will include The Tony Awards Presents: Broadway’s Back! This live concert event will feature superstar Broadway entertainers and Tony Award winners reuniting on stage to perform beloved classics and celebrate the joy and magic of live theatre. It will also include performances by the casts of the three Best Musical contenders: Jagged Little Pill, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and TINA – The Tina Turner Musical. The 74th Annual Tony Awards and The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back! will take place live from the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City on Sunday, September 26 on the CBS Television Network and will be hosted by Audra McDonald and Leslie Odom Jr.
