The YouTube channel The Shows Must Go On, started earlier this year streaming Andrew Lloyd Webber classics for musical theatre lovers throughout this pandemic. This Friday, the channel revisits the highly popular The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall, starring Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo, in honor of the show’s 34th birthday celebration. The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical originally streamed back in April near the start of the pandemic.
The show will begin streaming on the channel on Friday, October 9, 2020, at 2 PM (EDT) and remain accessible for 48 hours.
This 2011 production, recorded for the 25th anniversary of Phantom’s original 1986 opening on Broadway, was performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London and stars Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine.
