Happy Halloween! This week, we rewind the clock to October of 2000.
The revival of The Rocky Horror Show began previews at Circle in the Square Theatre on October 20th, 2000.
The show ran for 437 performances before closing on January 6th, 2002.
The show was filled with Broadway, television and movies stars including Dick Cavett, Penn & Teller, Gilbert Gottfried, Sally Jesse Raphael, Jerry Springer, Joan Jett, Matthew Morrison, Raúl Esparza, Lea DeLaria, Alice Ripley, Ana Gasteyer, and Daphne Rubin-Vega.
The show was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical.
